Some people think that there is no need for an electric wheat grinder because in emergency's there probably won't be any electricity. Other people think that they only want an electric wheat grinder because a hand grinder is so HARD and tiring to use.

Well, You need BOTH!! All you need to do is ask someone who has been in an emergency situation to see what they say. During a crisis, one of the best comfort foods will be homemade bread! If you have electricity than you are set with your electric grinder. If not, you have a feasible alternative in the hand grinder and you can cook it in a solar oven. The Schnitzer is one of the best hand grinders I have found. It is the only grinder that has a built in hopper and flour storage bin. Most hand grinders are hooked to the table and you have to put a bowl underneath to catch the flour. Several mothers have expressed the interest in having their children help grind the wheat so they can feel like they helped make bread.
